The Ukrainian Tennis Championship ended at LEOLAND courts: the winners were congratulated by the representatives of the Ukrainian Tennis Federation

From December 12 to 24, the Ukrainian Tennis Championship was held in Lviv. The tournament was initiated by the Ukrainian Tennis Federation (UTF), the general partners were Real Estate Corporation, Truskavetska mineral water and Lviv Croissants.
All tournament games were held on the courts of LEOLAND complex. Competitions were held in two age categories: among children under 14 and adults.
– Supporting sports at any time is an important component of the domestic policy of every civilized country. Today, Ukrainian athletes defend the colors of our country on world arenas. They are worthy ambassadors of Ukraine, because they raise awareness about our country and the challenges we have to face.
This championship opened us new names in national tennis, demonstrated the potential that we have to support and develop, so that Ukrainian tennis players as often as possible could climb the podiums of respectable world tournaments, – said Rostyslav Melnyk, a member of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Tennis Federation, summing up the results of the championship.
During the championship, a memorandum of cooperation between the Tennis Federation of Ukraine and the LEOLAND complex was signed. The purpose of the memorandum is to join efforts to support and develop tennis in Ukraine.
The LEOLAND complex, which was opened in September this year, has six modern indoor training courts with a total area of more than 3000 m², certified in the Premium category.
– The implementation of the LEOLAND project overlapped with the turbulent times for our country. Probably, the simplest solution was to wait for the victory. But we decided not to wait, and continued to work, provide jobs and create a center of peace for Lviv residents, so that they could at least for a while distract themselves and go in for sports.
For us, the development of tennis both in Lviv and in Ukraine as a whole is a continuation of our decision to work under any conditions. Today, we can provide our courts and the entire infrastructure of the complex to support the FTU, because we believe that sport is the best way not only to train the body, but also to educate the spirit, the spirit of winners, – said the investor of the LEOLAND project Oleksandr Svishchov.
