Several high-ranking Russian officers were killed during an attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the location of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk (Kherson region).
This information was reported by Radio Liberty journalist Mark Krutov on the social network X.
He noted that the strike on November 9 destroyed the second floor of a two-story brick building in Skadovsk.
Krutov suggests that the Ukrainian military used the HIMARS artillery rocket system.
– “Several high-ranking Russian officers were killed, according to Russian and Ukrainian sources,” Krutov said.
Strike on the occupiers in Skadovsk: what is known
On the morning of November 9, powerful explosions were heard in the occupied Skadovsk.
As noted by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, the Russians’ base in a former collective farm building on the corner of Gagarin and Portova streets, not far from the Lotus Hotel, was hit.
The footage from the hit site shows that the building was completely destroyed. The occupiers blocked the area around the house and did not let anyone near.
According to Andriushchenko, at least five invaders were killed and 15 others were injured.
Explosions in the occupied Skadovsk were heard on previous days, in particular on November 4.
