The oldest injured person is 80 years old, the youngest is five years old.

20 victims are in hospital. Among them are two minors.

What is known about the strike on Kyiv

At 03:00 on the night of December 13, a few seconds before the start of the air raid, explosions rang out in Kyiv.

Immediately after that, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a missile threat in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

Already in the morning it became known that the Russians struck the capital of Ukraine with ten ballistic missiles.

All 10 targets were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force.

Debris fell on the territory of four districts of the capital.

After studying the wreckage, experts will determine the type of missiles used by the enemy.

Dniprovskyі district

Damage to the nine-story building

In the Dniprovskyi district, a fire broke out on the seventh floor of a nine-story building.

About ten cars caught fire in the yard.

Residents were evacuated from the building. It was possible to save 17 people, including seven children.

Doctors, psychologists, representatives of the Red Cross worked on the spot.

At night, a Kyivpastrans bus was used to warm people.

In the morning, it was reported that the residents of the high-rise building will be temporarily sheltered in the Point of Invincibility, which was opened nearby, on the territory of school No. 98.

Children studying at this educational institution are planned to be transferred to distance education.

In this Point of Invincibility, all victims are promised to be provided with hot drinks and first aid. The premises also have internet and communication.

Other damages in the territory of the district

The blast wave blew out windows in two residential buildings.

In one of the private residential buildings there was a fire with an area of 2×2 meters.

Three more houses that were hit by rocket fragments were not destroyed. However, houses and auxiliary buildings are partially destroyed.

In addition, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko reported on the damage to the building of one of the children’s hospitals.

According to him, the windows were broken and the central entrance to the facility was damaged. One person was injured.

Missile fragments also fell on the roadway.

Emergency crews have already restored water supply due to damage to the water supply network.

By 2:00 p.m., specialists of DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks have to restore power supply to 35 private houses that were left without power due to damage by rocket fragments of power transmission lines.

Desnyanskyi district

In the Desnyanskyi district, debris caught fire in two open areas.

Darnytskyi district

A one-story residential building caught fire in Darnytskyi district.

The fire covered 400 square meters.

Holosiivskyi district

Fragments of enemy ammunition that fell on the road did not catch fire.
