He set fire to relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia: an agent of the Russian Federation was detained in the Odesa region

Employees of the Security Service detained a Russian agent who set fire to relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia and corrected enemy strikes on Odesa.
Detention of the agent of the Russian Federation, who corrected the strikes of the Russian Federation on Odesa
The traitor worked for the Russian Federation in two directions of reconnaissance and subversive activities: fire adjustment and arson.
In addition, the agent monitored the locations of the Armed Forces and directed Russian missile and drone strikes against them.
The priority targets of the Russian occupiers were the air defense positions protecting Odesa.
Another direction in which the traitor worked was the destruction of relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia. First of all, we are talking about setting fire to semaphores on important sections of the railway network.
It was after the first arson of such a cabinet that law enforcement officers detained an enemy agent.
According to law enforcement officers, the attacker was preparing to commit new sabotages at transport infrastructure facilities.
What is known about the agent of the Russian Federation and how he will be punished
The agent turned out to be a 39-year-old local resident who was a member of the agency and for a long period was in the territory of the aggressor country, where his father lives.
The man was recruited by the occupiers even before the start of the full-scale war, when the traitor entered the military register in Krasnodar to issue a Russian passport.
Shortly before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the man returned to Ukraine, where he was later approached remotely by the Russian special services and recruited.
Two F-1 grenades and a phone with evidence of criminal activities were found in the agent’s home.
The perpetrator is currently in custody. He was informed of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Art. 111 (treason committed under martial law);
- Part 2 of Art. 113 (sabotage committed under martial law);
- Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition).
The traitor faces life imprisonment.
