Shelling of Kupyansk: houses burned, there are wounded

The shelling of Kupyansk and the community began at 19:20 on August 8 and continued until half past one on August 9.
As a result of enemy strikes, houses were burned and people were injured.

The Russian army began shelling Kupyansk with multiple rocket launchers as early as 7:20 p.m. on August 8.
At 11:00 p.m., the roof of a private house in Kupyansk-Vuzlovy caught fire.
In three minutes, a two-story store and a house were engulfed in fire in Kupyansk itself.
A 57-year-old woman and men aged 44 and 45 were injured.
After new enemy strikes that thundered at 00:25 on August 9, another 44-year-old man was wounded.
In addition to houses and a shop, shelling in Kupyansk damaged a medical aid station, garages and cars.
It should be noted that another 46-year-old man was wounded in the village of Slobozhanske near Lyptsi at 06:20 on August 9.
In Borova at 00:15 on August 9, as a result of shelling, one private house was destroyed, three more and one two-story apartment building were damaged.
In addition, the building of the enterprise, the premises of a medical institution, cars and a bus were destroyed.
In Zolochiv at 02:30, about ten residential buildings and gas networks were damaged.
