The explosions in Glukhiv, Sumy region, occurred on the night of August 20 – Russia launched a missile attack on the energy facilities of the Hlukhiv community.

According to her data, as a result of the missile attack, 72 populated areas of the region were left without power supply – that’s more than 18,500 subscribers.
As of this morning, energy workers have already managed to restore power supply to some critical infrastructure facilities and the residential sector of the Hlukhiv community.
Emergency recovery works are ongoing.
On the night of August 20, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack drones.
In particular, the occupiers used two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, an Iskander-K cruise missile and Kh-59 cruise missiles. Air defense forces destroyed one Iskander-K and two Kh-59s.
25 out of 26 strike drones were also destroyed.
