The British Defense Ministry’s intelligence reports that the humanitarian situation in Mariupol, Donetsk region, is deteriorating.

According to the agency, more than 160,000 residents who remained in the city were deprived of electricity, communications, medicine, heat, and water.

Russian troops are blocking access to humanitarian aid to force Ukrainian defenders to surrender, – affirms the UK Ministry of Defence.

Currently, fierce fighting continues in the besieged Mariupol, and airstrikes by the Russian army do not stop.

Watching now

According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Russian invaders are destroying Mariupol because for them it is another “medal on the chest.”

During the full-scale war in Ukraine, Russian troops have already destroyed 90% of the infrastructure with the shellings.

Now the Ukrainian side is trying to evacuate wounded and killed defenders from Mariupol.

Turkey agreed to take them out of Berdiansk by ships. However, whether it can be done depends on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The situation at the front can be followed on an interactive map of hostilities in Ukraine.
