He confirmed that the cruiser was hit by anti-ship missiles of the Neptune complex and “significantly damaged”.

– There was a fire. The remaining units of the ship’s group tried to provide assistance, but the storm and a powerful explosion of ammunition turned the cruiser over, and it began to sink, – the military said.

The fact that the Ukrainian military fired two Neptune missiles at the “Moscow” cruiser was first confirmed by the head of the Odessa RMA Maksym Marchenko.

On the night of April 14, the Russian military department confirmed that the ship “was significantly damaged”. But they did not mention who hit “Moscow”, noting that “the causes of the fire are being established”.

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country says that “Moscow retains buoyancy”, and the main missile armament is not damaged.
