Complete occupation of Donbas and access to Transnistria: Russia called the goal of the “second stage” of the war

During the so-called second phase of the war against Ukraine, Russia plans completely occupy Donbas and southern Ukraine and provide a land corridor to Crimea.
It was announced by the Acting commander of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnekayev.
As he has stated, after establishing control over the South of Ukraine, Russia will have another exit to unrecognized Transnistria, where allegedly “are noted the facts of oppression of the Russian-speaking population.”
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian government has changed the goals and reasons for its invasion several times.
For example, on April 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia had decided to start a full-scale war in Ukraine to “help the residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.” According to him, this is the main goal.
Although at the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Putin has been designating “demilitarization” and “denazification” of Ukraine as purposes.
