At the summit, the leaders of the G7 countries plan to announce a ban on imports of gold mined in Russia. This step will deprive the aggressor country of multibillion-dollar revenues, through which it finances a full-scale war in Ukraine.

This was announced by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden. According to him, imports of Russian gold constitute a significant part of exports and allow Russia to receive huge revenues.
