Kazakhstan will not provide shelter to Russians who evade mobilization

Kazakhstan declares that it will not issue permanent residence permits to Russian citizens without Moscow’s permission. Currently, more and more Russians are seeking to leave the Russian Federation after President Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilization.

Speaker of the Kazakh Parliament, Maulen Ashimbayev, said that the law enforcement and migration authorities of Kazakhstan work in accordance with the law.

According to him, state structures are already aware of the situation regarding the sharp increase in the number of Russian citizens leaving the country.

– Our official institutions will not issue residence permits to persons who do not submit documents confirming that their countries have no objections to moving to Kazakhstan, Ashimbayev said.

It is worth noting that after the official announcement of partial military mobilization, Russians can enter Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Serbia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia without visas.
