The New Zealand Defense Force (NZDF) is sending a new group of 66 servicemen to Great Britain to conduct training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This deployment will run from November 30 to July 31, 2023.

The previous team of 120 NZDF servicemen is completing the training of Ukrainians in Britain.

– I am delighted that the NZDF Infantry can offer skills and experience for further training. The deployment also provides an opportunity for NZDF personnel to gain valuable experience, – the country’s Defense Minister Pini Henare said on Monday.

Currently, 135 New Zealand military personnel are sent to Britain and Europe to support Ukraine’s self-defense. They conduct a five-week basic combat course for infantry.
