We are preparing for all risky scenarios: Reznikov on the threat of a new invasion of the Russian Federation
Ukrainian soldiers are preparing for all risky scenarios and aggressive actions that Russia may take. In particular, there remains the risk of a new offensive by the Russian Federation, which may take place no earlier than February.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov. According to him, the Russian Federation is training new soldiers on the territory of its country and Belarus, as well as in the cities of Ukraine that are under the occupation of Russian troops.
– If, for example, the Russians decide to go on the offensive, then if it is possible to prepare their contingent – it can realistically be no earlier than February.
Having conducted the first wave of partial mobilization, they immediately sent 150,000 directly to Ukraine, and another 150,000 are being prepared in camps in various territories: in Russia, in Belarus, and in parts of the occupied cities from which they will go on the offensive , – notes the minister.
However, Reznikov notes that the direction from which the Russian army can launch a new offensive depends only on the Kremlin’s plans. The Minister of Defense assures that the soldiers of the Armed Forces are preparing for all possible risky scenarios.
– The question of where they will go from seems inappropriate to me, because it will depend on their plans, and most importantly – on our preparation. And we are preparing for all risky scenarios, even the most unpleasant ones, – assures the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
