Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov appealed to conscript citizens of the Russian Federation, whom the Kremlin can send to Ukraine to die.
– At the beginning of January, the Russian authorities will close the borders for men, then declare martial law and start another wave of mobilization. Borders will also be closed in Belarus. Today you are thinking about how to decorate the festive table and are making your plans.
But you may not hear the knock on the door behind the chimes. It knocks with a soldier. Especially – in the cities, because in the hinterland many were already taken away. Your managers are unlikely to say this in their New Year’s addresses, – assures the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Reznikov is convinced that due to the failure of the Kremlin, Russia has lost its authority in the world. People with a Russian passport are now despised not only in Europe, but also in the Caucasus and Central Asia, although a year ago everything was different, he noted.
– The leadership of Russia has long understood that the prank with the war against Ukraine has turned into a disaster for them. And it is in the interests of Russia to end this war as soon as possible. But they cannot admit this to you, because then they will have to answer for everything, – said the minister.
