Poland intends to reduce the period of military training of Ukrainian soldiers on Leopard 2 battle tanks to five weeks, reducing the training period to half of the standard one.

This was stated by the commander of the Polish training center Leopard, Major Maciej Banaszynski in a comment to foreign journalists.

– If we intensify the training by increasing the number of instructors, optimize our time and our weekends, we will be able to train the entire crew in five weeks, – he said.

According to him, Polish instructors plan to hold training courses for tank crews and drivers. At the same time, Poland conducts courses for mechanics in weapons, chassis and equipment necessary for Leopard operation.
