A long war will benefit Moscow: Sunak on the need to strengthen Ukraine

A prolonged stalemate in the Russian-Ukrainian war will only benefit Moscow. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak.
Sunak said he has come to this conclusion after reviewing Britain’s approach to Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine after he became prime minister in October 2022.
He added that he is convinced that there should be an opportunity to speed up British support to Ukraine. This would give Kyiv the best chance of success.
Rishi Sunak believes that Ukraine needs to make the most of the window of opportunity to leave Russian troops behind and free the temporarily occupied territory.
The Prime Minister notes that Britain’s new strategy, aimed at accelerating support, will include increased diplomatic efforts and recovery planning after Ukraine’s victory.
