A city destroyed by earthquakes will be demolished and rebuilt in Turkey

In Turkey, the government has decided to completely demolish and rebuild the city of Nurdagi, which is heavily damaged after a series of powerful earthquakes.
It is known that the city is located in the territory of Gaziantep province, which has the most damage from the earthquake.
Osman Bilgin, the governor of Shirnak province, said that search and rescue operations and the dismantling of the ruins are ongoing there.
However, in the end, the Turkish government decided that experts would completely demolish the buildings in Nurdag and rebuild the houses anew.
On the morning of February 6, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Turkey – the strongest in a century. After it, there were two more with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6, respectively.
In neighboring Syria, they still cannot establish the exact number of people killed by the earthquake, but more than 4,500 people are already known to have died. Earthquakes were also felt in other countries – Israel, Lebanon, Jordan and Georgia.
