Russia and Belarus extend military exercises until March 6

The training of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia has been extended until at least March 6.
The schedule of the training was published by the Telegram channel Belaruski Gayun.
– February 25-26 were days off for some training grounds, while others, where the Russian Armed Forces are concentrated, will continue to operate without interruption: Osipovitsky, Domanovo, Lepelsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, – the statement said.
The training will last from February 27 to March 6 at the following training grounds:
- 227th Combined Arms Training Ground Borysivsky (Borysiv district) until 04.03;
- Gozhsky training ground of the 6th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Grodno district) until 03.03;
- Brest training ground of the 38th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Brest district) until 04.03;
- Osipovitsky training ground of the 51st Airborne Brigade (Osipovitsky district) until March 05;
- 212 aviation training ground Niman (Novohrudsk district) until 03.03;
- 230 Obuz-Lesnovsky Combined Arms Training Area (Baranovychi district) until 06.03;
- 174 training ground of the Air Force and air defense troops Domanovo (Ivatsevychi district) until 05.03;
- Lepelski training ground of the 19th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Lepelski district) until 05.03.
– The Belarusian Armed Forces are improving their skills and becoming more prepared for defense. However, they are still not ready for offensive actions due to the lack of actual combat experience, – the statement said.

As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has amended the law on state border protection and decided to increase the strip along the Ukrainian-Russian and Ukrainian-Belarusian border to 2 km wide and mine the area.
