The Prime Minister of Japan called on Putin to immediately stop the aggression against Ukraine
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida called on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to listen to the position of the global international community and immediately stop aggression against Ukraine.
He announced this at a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
– During the Group of Seven summit, which I held last month, and during the adoption of the resolution of the UN General Assembly, which was supported by 141 countries, Russia was called upon to withdraw its troops from Ukraine immediately. I once again call on President Putin to listen to the position of the global international community and immediately stop the aggression on the territory of Ukraine, – stressed the Prime Minister of Japan.
He noted that Japan consistently supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and thanks to the solidarity between the countries, bilateral cooperation is deepening and expanding even more.
– We share the fundamental values of Ukraine. In particular, we agreed to raise the level of our relations to a special global partnership, – he noted.
