Zelenskyy arrived in Poland on an official visit
On the morning of April 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Poland. At 12:00, he will hold talks with his Polish colleague Andrzej Duda.
The press secretary of the head of state, Serhiy Nikiforov, confirmed on the air of the telethon that Zelenskyy is indeed already in Poland together with the first lady.
According to him, Zelenskyy will meet with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, there will also be many meetings with representatives of the Senate and business, with Polish rescuers and volunteers, with mayors of cities bordering Ukraine, etc.
– The most important thing is that in the evening there will be a big speech by the president for Poles and Ukrainians who are permanently or temporarily in Poland – Nikiforov clarified.
He emphasized that this is the first announced official visit of Zelenskyy to Poland after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, because previously the head of state only flew through its territory on his way to other countries.
– Defense will be in the first place – that’s obvious. Economy, cross-border movement and communication, in particular rail, expansion of opportunities for border crossing. We will talk about our European affairs, about sanctions – in general, a large list of topics – press secretary announced the topics of the negotiations.
At the same time, he did not talk about which documents are planned for signing, since changes may be made during the negotiations.
