The United States will support Ukraine for as long as necessary to protect the country’s territorial integrity.
This was stated by US President Joe Biden during his speech to the UN General Assembly. He called on the intergovernmental organization to resist Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
– “The responsibility for this war lies solely on Russia’s shoulders,” the US president emphasized.
According to him, Russia believes that the world will get tired and allow Ukraine to be mistreated without any consequences.
– But I ask you: if we abandon the basic principles of the UN Charter to appease an aggressor, can any member state feel confident that it is protected? If we allow Ukraine to be divided, will the independence of any nation be secure? The answer is no,” Biden said.
According to the US President, the world must confront this open aggression today in order to deter other potential aggressors tomorrow.
