It is necessary to arm the Armed Forces: Hodges announced a plan for the victory of Ukraine

US President Joe Biden should push for an end to Russia’s full-scale war by arming Ukraine for victory, not simply providing weapons to continue the long-running struggle.
This was stated by the former commander of the US Army in Europe and head of the Pershing Chair of Strategic Studies at the Center for European Policy Analysis, Ben Hodges, in a column for The Telegraph.
In his opinion, the Russian Federation only benefits from the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, because it diverts the world’s attention from a full-scale war against Ukraine. He does not believe it is a coincidence that Iran, an ally of Moscow, is behind the groups that attacked Israel.
– Perhaps no organized plan currently exists, but the fact that various villains of the world are acting together to undermine the West and its allies is not a simple coincidence, – the American general believes.
Godges is convinced that now China is assessing the political will, military and industrial potential of the USA, Great Britain or other states to help Ukraine in defeating Russia.
The general believes that the US should send ATACMS missiles with a unitary warhead with a range of 300 km to Ukraine to destroy Russian naval, aviation and logistics facilities in the occupied Crimea.
He pointed out that Germany may then dare to hand over Taurus missiles with a range of 500 km to the Armed Forces, which will have a decisive potential to destroy Russian headquarters, artillery and logistics.
At the same time, the victory of Ukraine will be accelerated by the supply of F-16 fighters to the Armed Forces, Hodges believes. In his opinion, when the Kerch Bridge will be destroyed and the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have the proper weapons, then Ukraine will be able to reach the Sea of Azov and expel the Russian Federation.
– After that, it would be pointless to fight for Donbas: everything would be ready for the victory and restoration of Ukraine, – claims the former commander of the US Army in Europe.
The use of long-range weapons by the Armed Forces of Great Britain and France demonstrated that the Russian Federation is not ready to respond with a nuclear strike, the American general drew attention.
