The victory of the Russian Federation is threatening, Europe will support Ukraine – the president of the European Commission
The meeting of the European Council, scheduled for December 14 and 15, will give the European Commission an opportunity to show that Europe will support Ukraine to the last.
This was stated by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. According to her, Ukrainians are fighting for peace, and the EU’s duty is to help the state as much as it will be needed.
– We owe our prosperity to the victory of the Allies in the Second World War, as well as to the peace that became possible thanks to the construction of Europe and the protection of NATO, – she said.
The President of the European Commission claims that the victory of the Russian Federation against Ukraine may threaten other member states of the European Union.
She drew attention to the fact that dictator Vladimir Putin does not hide his intentions to recreate the imperial scale of the Russian past.
Ursula von der Leyen is convinced that the victory of Russia will affect the stability of the European continent, the ability to live in peace and long-term prosperity. She believes that only Ukraine should determine the conditions for a just and long-term peace.
