Almost half of Poles believe that the Russian Federation may attack Poland – survey

47% of Polish citizens surveyed believe that a Russian attack on their country is likely.
This is evidenced by a poll by United Surveys for RMF FM and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
It is noted that this result is 16 percentage points more than in a similar survey conducted in May 2023.
Yes, now 12% of Poles are convinced that an attack by the Russian Federation will happen. More than 35% consider it rather probable.
At the same time, slightly more than 38% of respondents do not agree with the thesis about the possible aggression of Russian troops against Warsaw.
Another 14.3% could not decide on an answer.
– Given that the number of those who are undecided, according to the latest and last year’s polls, remains almost unchanged, it is obvious that Poles, closely following the military situation, are moving to more pessimistic attitudes, – sociologists summarize.
