The Russian Federation will interfere in the US presidential election – Danilov
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will interfere in the 2024 US presidential election. This intervention will be much more extensive than before.
This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with The Times.
According to him, artificial intelligence has allowed the Russian special services to significantly intensify their disinformation campaigns, and this is a huge step forward for Moscow.
– Russia now has special units “fixed” for each country where elections will be held. Moscow’s network of informants and agents around the world is so large that it is impossible to eliminate Russian interference. The Federal Security Service continues to constantly conclude contracts with European criminal groups, – Danilov added.
The Times noted that the special services of the Russian Federation spread 166 million disinformation posts about Ukraine on various platforms every day.
Earlier, White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan admitted that “there are concerns” about Russia’s possible interference in the presidential election.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
