An explosion occurred in the Samara region of the Russian Federation on the railway bridge over the Chapaevka River on the Zirka – Chapaevsk route.
The Russian mass media noted that unknown persons tried to blow up the support of the bridge.
After the inspection, the experts declared damage to the metal structures and began to find out whether the bridge could withstand the trains.
Traffic on the bridge was temporarily suspended.
In particular, passenger trains No. 32 (Moscow – Orsk), No. 50 (Moscow – Samara), No. 10 (Moscow – Samara) and electric train Syzran – Myrna were detained.
