Putin has one goal: Zelenskyy says how Kremlin will use the attack in Crocus City Hall
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said it was no surprise to him when dictator Putin linked the bloody terrorist attack in the Moscow region to Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian guarantor, the Kremlin will use even such a great tragedy for its own people to justify its war against another state.
– It does not care whether it is a terrorist act, an economic act, the oil industry, or any of these areas. Putin uses this to unify his society as much as possible. Even what happened in Moscow with so many victims and wounded, he will use for only one purpose – to justify that Ukraine should not exist,” Zelensky said.
The President added that his words are confirmed by public statements by Russian officials even when the ISIS terrorist organization itself has fully claimed responsibility for the mass shooting of civilians in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.
Terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall
A large-scale terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall took place on Friday night, March 22, before the start of the performance of the popular Russian rock band Picnic.
Suddenly, men armed with assault rifles burst into the building and began shooting at anyone who came their way. They then set fire to the building from the inside and tried to escape.
The attack killed more than 140 people, including children, and injured 360 people.
The ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the massacre, but the Kremlin claims that “Ukraine and the West were not without their help.”
