Security Service of Ukraine helps expose Medvedchuk’s powerful pro-Russian influence network in EU – sources

Czech counterintelligence managed to expose a pro-Russian network of influence on members of the European Parliament, behind which was former MP Viktor Medvedchuk, in particular, thanks to the assistance of the SBU.
Fakty ICTV learned about this from its own sources.
According to them, this network paid politicians to praise Russia and Putin in the European media, and also published anti-Ukrainian and anti-European materials on its own website Voice of Europe in order to get as many pro-Russian politicians as possible into the European Parliament.
– “Medvedchuk launched Voice of Europe together with Artem Marchevsky, the former general producer of 112 Ukraine TV channel,” the sources say.
Following this scandal, on the eve of the June European Parliament elections, MPs are demanding a thorough investigation of Russian influence and punishment for colleagues who have been working off Russian money.
Czech Republic imposes sanctions against Medvedchuk
It was because of the exposure of this pro-Russian group that the Czech government recently imposed sanctions on Viktor Medvedchuk, the company Voice of Europe s.r.o., which he “uses in his own interests,” and Artem Marchevsky, who is close to him.
The country’s Foreign Ministry says that the activities of this pro-Russian group go beyond the Czech Republic, affecting democratic processes in Europe.
