We will remind, as soon as locals heard the first explosions in Morozovsk at one o’clock in the morning on April 5, Rostov Region Governor Vasyl Golubev announced that the air defense forces were repelling a massive drone attack.
In another hour, the head of the region added that the air defense forces had already allegedly destroyed more than 40 targets in the Morozovsk district.
And at the same time, he clarified that the electric substation was damaged during the attack. At arrivals at the airport, the governor decided not to emphasize.
Already in the morning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation counted 44 destroyed or intercepted drones over the Rostov region.
Around 11 a.m., Vasyl Golubev again addressed the locals.
The governor of the Rostov region stated that no one was injured during the night attack, and the damage to the substation was allegedly insignificant. About 600 residents are about to be restored to power due to a damaged power line.
In conclusion, Vasyl Golubev noted that the authorities will help to restore the windows in several apartments on the 16th floor, as well as the fence and farm buildings on the territory of a private house.
