The Netherlands will additionally allocate €4.4 billion for military support to Ukraine

The Dutch government will allocate an additional €4.4 billion for military and humanitarian support to Ukraine for 2024-2026.

The website of the country’s government reports that funds are also allocated to strengthen its own defense.

In particular, in 2028, the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands will receive €500 million to strengthen its own air defense and purchase new ammunition. These additional funds will be allocated from unexpected revenues to various budgets in order to balance the general budget of the country.

Another €1 billion from the Netherlands

On April 12, after a conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the country would allocate another €1 billion for military aid to Ukraine and €400 million for reconstruction.
