US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Washington is focused on five key areas in the Black Sea region.

He said this during a speech at the Second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimean Platform.

– This is strengthening the political presence of the US, deepening cooperation in the field of security, strengthening economic integration and stability, promoting energy security, in particular with the help of clean energy, and promoting democratic stability – said Blinken.

According to the Secretary of State, the United States has made progress in achieving these goals.

In particular, the Americans cooperate with Bulgaria to counter foreign disinformation. In addition, Romania is building a “small modular reactor that will strengthen regional energy security” with the help of US nuclear technologies.

Blinken also added that the Black Sea region has become home to one of NATO’s new multinational battle groups, as well as to more than 2,000 US military personnel.

The official emphasized that the success of Ukraine is important for the entire region, so the United States should continue to support our country so that it can “defend itself and survive in the military, economic and democratic sense.”

Earlier, the British tabloid The Sun published an article saying that Ukraine plans to destroy the Crimean Bridge within the next 100 days – that is, by mid-summer.
