Not only the Netherlands – Kuleba on the Allies’ readiness to buy Patriot SAMs for Ukraine
Not only the Netherlands is ready to buy Patriot air defence systems for Ukraine to strengthen its air defence.
This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a national telethon.
– “I will reveal a small diplomatic secret: The Netherlands is not the only country that is ready to buy a Patriot battery from any country in the world at the price announced by that country,” the diplomat stressed.
At the same time, Kuleba noted that the statement by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte about Amsterdam’s readiness to purchase these units is an important signal for Kyiv.
Helping Ukraine – NATO Secretary General names priority for allies
North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has called on the allies to prioritise military assistance to Ukraine.
He understands that the Allies are now facing a choice between meeting NATO’s defence targets and providing more assistance to Ukraine
– “My message is clear: send more to Ukraine,” the Secretary General encouraged partners.
