According to journalists, new sanctions may be introduced against companies located in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, China, Hong Kong and Russia itself.

In particular, the European Union is evaluating potential sanctions against more than a dozen companies that continued to purchase a limited list of goods in EU countries and deliver to Russia.

Companies that could be subject to sanctions have imported millions of euros worth of banned European goods. They were used by the Russian military, despite significant EU trade restrictions.

At the same time, the European Union is considering the introduction of sanctions against Chinese and Hong Kong companies that allegedly provided Russia with satellite images and other technologies.

Several companies against which possible sanctions are being considered are located outside the Russian Federation, but have connections with Russian and Belarusian individuals and companies, the document says. The EU will start discussing a new package of sanctions this week.

According to the document, the imports included technologies related to navigation systems for missiles, EU-made antennas, and components used in military computer tools.
