The night strikes on the Russian Kushchevsk airfield and two oil refineries in Krasnodar, Russia, were carried out using drones of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Explosions in Russia on 27 April
The explosions on the night of 27 April in Russia, namely at the Kushchevsk airfield and at the Ilya and Slavyansk refineries in the Krasnodar region of Russia, were caused by Security Service of Ukraine drones.
According to the sources, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) acted jointly with the Ukrainian Defence Forces in the operation to hit the Kushchevsk military airfield.
– ‘Dozens of military aircraft, radar and electronic warfare equipment were deployed there,’ the sources said.
In addition, the Security Service’s drones hit the distillation and atmospheric columns of the Ilyich and Slaviansk refineries, which are key technological facilities of these refineries.
Following the strikes, fires broke out at the airfield and refineries and personnel were evacuated.
– The SBU continues to effectively target military and infrastructure facilities behind enemy lines, reducing Russia’s potential for warfare. ‘The terrorist country’s cotton is burning and will continue to burn,’ the informed source said.
Slaviansk refinery has stopped working
According to Russian media, which cited a representative of the refinery, the Slaviansk oil refinery partially shut down after the UAV attack.
It is noteworthy that the Russian Ministry of Defence had previously claimed to have shot down 66 drones over the territory of Krasnodar Krai.
Along with the information about the explosions, videos of the strikes on the refinery appeared on social media.
Strikes on the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation
The first explosions in Sloviansk-on-Kuban on the night of 27 April were reported around four in the morning.
According to local residents, the explosions lasted for 30 minutes.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, the explosions in Sloviansk-on-Kuban on 27 April damaged the Sloviansk-EKO refinery, the Ilya refinery, a bitumen plant and a number of other facilities.
