Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that his country plans to hold talks with allies about the possibility of shooting down Russian missiles flying towards the Polish border.

He said this at a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Warsaw.

– We have been talking about this idea, which was born in Poland, for a long time. About this idea of NATO’s response to missile attacks, when it comes to missiles headed towards Poland and still in Ukraine to try to shoot them down. Not waiting for them to fly to NATO territory, but over Ukrainian land. And this seems absolutely logical, – Tusk said.

According to him, Poland was the first country that started talking about it with Ukraine.
