Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Smith told Voice of America that the United States will continue to tailor military assistance to meet Ukraine’s needs.
– “We will continue to adjust and adapt our security assistance and guidance based on the operational and strategic needs of our partners in Ukraine,” the Assistant Secretary of State said.
In Washington, during a speech at the Reagan Institute, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if permission is granted to destroy Russian aircraft on Russian territory, Ukraine will be able to protect its cities from guided bomb attacks.
The Head of State is convinced that this will limit Russia’s actions in southern Ukraine if the United States helps with the necessary long-range capabilities to strike Russian military targets and logistics in occupied Crimea.
