Ukraine can and will stop Putin – Biden
With the support of allies, Ukraine is able to stop Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was stated by US President Joe Biden at the celebrations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of NATO during the summit in Washington.
Biden is sure that Ukraine will win
– Putin’s aggressive war against Ukraine continues in Europe. He wants nothing less than the complete subjugation of Ukraine… and erasure from the face of the earth. We know that Putin will not stop at Ukraine. But make no mistake – Ukraine can and will stop Putin, especially with our collective support, – he noted.
According to him, Russia has already suffered defeat, because in more than two years of war its losses exceeded 350,000 soldiers killed and wounded, and almost 1 million citizens of the Russian Federation left the country because they no longer see their future there.
– All members of the alliance knew that before this war, Putin thought that NATO would collapse. NATO is stronger today than at any time in its history, – concluded Biden.
It was during this speech that Biden also announced historic aid to Ukraine by means of air defense.
According to him, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania and Italy will provide Ukraine with equipment for five additional air defense systems.
