If we want to win, we need to remove all restrictions: Zelenskyy on strikes against Russia
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that allies and partners should lift all restrictions on strikes on military targets in the Russian Federation.
The Head of State made this statement during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Strikes on military targets in Russia
– “Of course, if we want to win, succeed, preserve our country and protect it, we need to remove all restrictions. I talked about this with my partners, the British Prime Minister, the US President, the NATO Secretary General. I raised this topic with very specific facts,” he said.
According to the president, Ukraine knows where Russian military bases are located from which Russia attacks hospitals and other civilian facilities.
– This is an important issue. These military bases, with guided bombs, missiles that target us, kill our children. For me, this is not rhetoric, but a real plan for our people. Now it is a plan for our entire country. And we are waiting for a decision from our allies.
I am sure that our friends will understand this. We have very positive messages from the British Prime Minister. I hope that we will reach such a decision,” the President of Ukraine emphasized.
