Humanitarian corridors will continue to work for Mariupol and Luhansk region on April 4, – Vereshchuk

As of today, April 4, the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol to Zaporizhia has been agreed. The route will work for private transport.

This was announced during a briefing by the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk. According to her, 15 buses left Zaporizhia for the evacuation of Ukrainians.

In addition, the Red Cross delegation plans to continue its journey to Mariupol from the city of Mangush along with seven buses.

Also on April 4, the evacuation of civilians from the cities of Sievierodonetsk, Popasna, Lysychansk, Rubizhne and the village of Nyzhne of Luhansk region continues.

Iryna Vereshchuk noted that the Russian occupiers in the Luhansk region are constantly violating the regime of silence and shelling humanitarian columns. But despite this, police, military and drivers led by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration continue to help the civilian population evacuate.
