The destruction of Ukrainian defenders in Mariupol will put an end to negotiations with Russia.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Ukrainian online media.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine was trying to evacuate women, children and wounded soldiers from Mariupol, but Russia was abandoning humanitarian corridors.
The occupiers demand that the defenders of Mariupol surrender and do not allow the deportation of people, even through Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The head of state also stressed that the situation in Mariupol is very difficult, as our military and wounded are blocked. The city is in a humanitarian crisis: no food, no water, no medicine. However, the defenders of the city continue to defend it.
He stressed that Mariupol can save the powerful weapons that need to be provided as soon as possible, as well as negotiations. A ceasefire is needed to pick up the wounded.
