Masked with “signs”: occupiers try to hide the scale of the genocide of Mariupol residents

Братська могила у Мангуші під Маріуполем: як окупанти намагаються замаскувати геноцид

Russian invaders are trying to hide the scale of the genocide of residents of Mariupol (Donetsk region), which Russian troops have been surrounding since early March.

According to the Mariupol City Council, the occupiers use “signs” with data of the dead Mariupol residents to disguise their crimes.

These are the “signs” installed by Russian war criminals on a huge mass grave in the village of Mangush, which is located near Mariupol. The invaders took the bodies of the dead there.

The City Council has reminded of the recent satellite images of this mass grave in the Russian-occupied Mangush. It is a trench more than 300 meters long, which appeared approximately at the end of March.

– The occupiers are again trying to hide the scale of the genocide in Mariupol. They disguise the huge mass grave in Mangush with “signs”. So far, they do it very badly. In the photo, we see only one sector of the burial, where, judging by the numbering of signs, are at least 268 burials. In satellite images from April 9, we see four such sectors. Therefore Russian propagandists themselves documented the fact of murder of 1 thousand Mariupol residents, – saying the message.

The City Council, citing eyewitness data, clarified that the occupiers buried between 3,000 and 9,000 Mariupol residents in Mangush.

The other day in Mariupol there was discovered another place of mass burial of people killed by Russian troops. It is located near the Vynohradne cemetery in the Left Bank district.

According to Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko, Putin’s invaders are trying to hide their war crimes in the city, so they are taking out and burning the bodies of dead civilians. To destroy evidence of atrocities, they use three scenarios: mass graves, mobile crematoria, and taking the bodies of the dead to Russian-controlled territories, where they are burned in stationary crematories.
