Ukraine has entered a new stage of the war with Russia. Our troops managed to stop the advance of the occupiers.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a speech at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council Summit.
– We now see that we are not backing down. For today this is a new stage. Somewhere we are standing, some territories are blocked by the Russian troops and equipment. There we are waiting for the appropriate equipment from our side to be able to push and move forward, and in some areas, we are moving forward. Therefore, no step back, – he assured.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi added that everything must be done to stop the war in Ukraine first, and then to start diplomacy. According to him, the Ukrainian side will try to find compromises through dialogue where it is possible.
At the same time, Ukraine will show its position as an equal partner in any dialogue.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyi explained that Ukraine’s ultimate goal in the war with Russia is to restore territorial integrity, including the Crimean peninsula annexed in 2014.
