In the Belarusian region of Brest, which has a border with Ukraine, the enemy is firing Iskander missile systems.
This was announced on May 26 by Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov. He did not rule out that the threat of rocket attacks on Western Ukraine from Belarus remains high.
– Launchers of operational-tactical Iskander cruise missiles were moved to the Luninets district of the Brest region. Their involvement in the destruction of military facilities and infrastructure in the western region of our country is not ruled out, – said Oleksiy Gromov.
According to official data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Belarusian military planned “training” in late May. These are landfills in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev regions.
It is also known that only last week (May 19-26) the enemy fired 63 missiles and 41 air strikes on targets in various cities of Ukraine.
