Russian officers cannot recruit new personnel for the war against Ukraine.
This was reported by the Central Intelligence Agency under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Ukrainian spies were able to intercept the conversation of officers of the Russian 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, which took part in the atrocities in Bucha.
Occupying army officers are discussing the allowances promised by the Russian authorities.
-… (wonderful, – Ed.). And then we just have a lot of deniers in general – a lot … There are 150 deniers. Everyone who comes from there. No one has the right to condemn them. Well, who wants that ass for the second time? – says one of the occupiers.
According to intelligence officers, it is almost impossible to recruit the right number of people willing to serve in this unit of Russian troops.
In addition, during the conversation, the subordinate officer asks his commander about the veracity of rumors about the dismissal of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The commander denies rumors: “No, it seems. Here he recently presented Omurbekov (commander of the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade) with a star (the rank of colonel).”
The GUR reminded that the 64th Detached Motorized Rifle Brigade was the unit that committed horrific crimes during the occupation of Bucha. After Bucha’s release, the commander of the 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, Azatbek Omurbekov, received state awards from Russia and an extraordinary rank.
