In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the Russian invaders threaten to deport residents who do not come to the “referendum”.
This was announced by Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov during a broadcast on the FreeDom TV channel.
According to him, the occupiers are already preparing for a pseudo-referendum on joining Russia.
– The known date they declare is the beginning of September, – noted Fedorov.
The mayor of Melitopol claims that the Russian military is conducting a total round-up of neighborhoods in the high-rise sector, private houses to identify residents.
– Their threat is as follows: those who do not come to the “referendum” will be taken outside the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, – Fedorov explained.
In addition, he emphasized that there will be no “referendum” as such, the Russians will only arrange a picture for the propaganda media.
