All disconnected consumers in Kyiv were transferred to a temporary consumption scheme, while 85% of the energy supply was restored for consumers in the Kyiv region.
This is reported by DTEK.
– Within 5 hours, experts transferred 85% of the consumers who lost power to a backup power supply scheme. The backup scheme will be in effect while the restoration work on the destroyed facilities continues, – the press service of DTEK said in a statement.
Residents of the region and the capital are urged to take a responsible approach to electricity consumption due to the increased load on the power grid.
Energy-intensive devices should be turned on one after the other and maximally reduce consumption during peak hours – from 5 to 11 p.m.
DTEK added that on the instructions of the system operator Ukrenergo in Kyiv, emergency power supply restrictions have been applied, and therefore some consumers are temporarily without power supply in accordance with the needs of the power system.
Their electricity supply will be restored after the stabilization of the situation in the power system.
