The Russian occupiers intimidate the residents of the Kherson region by spreading information about the possible undermining of the Kakhovka HPP dam.
This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of November 1.
– The occupiers continue to forcibly relocate the civilian population in the temporarily captured territories of the Kherson region. The enemy is resorting to intimidation of civilian residents, spreading information about the possible undermining of the Kakhovka HPP dam. At the same time, the local population is deprived of means of communication, – the report says.
The Russian occupation administration of Kherson was moved to the city of Skadovsk.
The Russians are trying to compensate for the losses in the war with mobilized military personnel. Employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation carry out so-called “work” with those who refuse to participate in hostilities.
The General Staff also reported that during the day, Ukrainian defenders struck 22 strikes on the positions of the occupiers.
– 19 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as three positions of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems, were affected. In different directions, air defense units shot down two UAVs of the Orlan-10 type and six Shahed-136 attack drones, – the message says.
In addition, units of missile troops and artillery hit two areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition warehouse and four other important military objects of the enemy during the day.
