Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal expressed the opinion that another mass attack by the Kremlin is connected with the fact that Russia cannot come to terms with its failures and therefore continues to terrorize the population.
– Another attempt to destroy the Ukrainian energy system and deprive Ukrainians of light, heat, and water. During this morning’s attack, Russia fired more than half a hundred cruise missiles, most of which were shot down by our air defense forces. Thank you for your professionalism, – Shmyhal wrote on social networks on Friday, February 10.
He added that the enemy is throwing all its forces into causing as much damage as possible to the Ukrainian energy industry.
– We have damage to the high-voltage infrastructure and generation in the western, central and eastern regions, due to which there may be power outages, – the prime minister warned.
According to him, energy workers are already working on eliminating the consequences of shelling.
