US President Joe Biden, during his visit to Kyiv, said that difficult days, weeks and years lie ahead for Ukraine, because the goal of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is to completely erase Ukraine from the map.
The American president clarified that the military campaign of the Russian aggressors is failing. He reminded that they have lost half of the territories that they first captured and are suffering heavy human losses.
At the same time, many Russians leave and will not return, because they do not see a future in Russia.
– The Russian economy is falling, it is isolated and facing difficulties, – said the US president.
He added that Putin thought he would last longer than the West, but now he is not so sure.
Biden once again promised to support Ukraine as long as it is needed.
We will remind you that Joe Biden came to Kyiv with an unannounced visit in the morning of February 20. This is his first trip to Ukraine during his presidency.
The last time an American leader visited Ukraine was 15 years ago, it was George Bush Jr. in 2008.
Biden later announced that Ukraine will receive a new package of military aid from the United States for a total amount of 500 million dollars.
