On March 7, US President Joe Biden had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
This is reported by the White House.
– Both leaders discussed their support for Ukraine, including the commitment to continue providing security assistance to Ukraine and to collect compensation from Russia for aggression, – the administration of the American head of state noted.
During the call, Biden and Macron also raised the topic of U.S.-French cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region and joint efforts to respond to challenges posed by China to the rules-based world order.
In addition, politicians reaffirmed their commitment to closely coordinating the acceleration of the clean energy transition.
